This 258,000 sf. retail/office facility is composed of two wings that take the suggestions of their organic form from the orientation and views of the environment. The lower portion of the building provides spacious lobby and public areas, a two-story high large department store and some one-story high smaller retail spaces. The vertical and horizontal components of structure spreads out in various directions to maximize the views of every individual window. The bold concrete elements tie all the components back together to create a balanced yet asymmetrical composition.
