This two story historic house came under the caring ownership of a couple who had no problem thinking outside the box. This project required a complete demolition to the shell. Within a very tight lot, a new open plan first floor and two bedrooms with a full bath were incorporated in the new design. Radiant floor in concrete slab, energy efficient windows, bamboo flooring, low VOC paints and adhesives, water efficient toilet, energy star compliant appliance, plus spray foam insulation make this house going very “green”.
